Chiropractic care is a great tool to have in your tool bag. Certified Chiropractic Sports Physicians (CCSP) have taken that tool bag and expanded it, which means we have also expanded the list of conditions we're prepared to treat.
Chiropractic care has been helping patients for years through adjustments, although this is one of our foundational tools, we felt as though some patients needed more. Dr. Golbek spent countless hours taking continuing education to ensure he has the tools for all of the conditions coming into our office in Catoosa. This is a big part of the reason patients from Tulsa, Claremore, Owasso, Coweta, Broken Arrow, and many other surrounding towns travel to see us.
What to expect at our Catoosa Location.
The Functional Triage at Movement Cube.
Your treatment will be tailored to your specific condition but we tend to look through the lens of a functional triage, this means that there will be a joint component to address, a soft tissue component, and a motor control component.
The Joint Component
Our body is comprised of many different joints that work together so that we can move. This portion of our treatment focuses on ensuring your joints can move through their intended range of motion without pain or restriction. This is where gentle mobilizations or traditional chiropractic care comes into play.
The Soft Tissue Component
Muscles move joints and many times they will contribute to the restrictions we are dealing with in those joints. Our office takes you through an assessment to ensure we are treating the muscles that matter for your condition. We offer a variety of soft tissue therapies to address this portion of your condition and we will tailor the one we use to your specific needs.
The Motor Control Component
Once we have more range of motion throughout the joints and muscles, you need to be able to control it. Whether it's learning to control the new range you've gained or taking care of weaknesses that contributed to your injury in the first place we have several options to help. In our second phase of care we will guide you through specific rehabilitation exercises to make sure the results you get are long lasting. When we have you back to moving optimally and pain free you'll have the option to join our small group fitness classes to get you strong in the most foundational movement patterns, building life long resilience.
