Chiropractic care is commonly thought of as an adjustment or "popping" of the back. In reality, Chiropractic refers to a profession that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and recovery of musculoskeletal injuries throughout the body.

At Movement Cube, our doctor is trained in many different techniques used to treat a wide variety of injuries. This can include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue or "muscle" work, and rehab plans that are personalized for each patient. We specialize in the conservative management of all types of injuries. Our office provides a natural alternative to surgery or medication that is centered around movement, exercise, and hands-on therapy to enhance your recovery.

Patients who visit our chiropractic office for care, usually complain about one of the following conditions.

How Does Getting Chiropractic Adjustments Help Me?

The adjustment is easily the most thought of treatment associated with chiropractic. Some of the most common questions we get are, what is the popping noise, how does it help with pain, and is it right for everyone?

Joint manipulation is one of our most powerful tools and we use it on most of our patients. The purpose is to restore proper motion to joints in areas that have been compromised. This joint dysfunction can occur due to an injury, muscular imbalances, sitting with improper posture for extended periods, or many other causes.

When a joint is restricted, it doesn't move how it was designed to move. Our doctor will perform an exam and manipulation in the areas with restricted motion so that we can reintroduce proper joint motion and mechanics. When the body has proper biomechanics, it will allow you to move better.

What you can expect at your first Movement Cube appointment?

We're not your average chiropractor so you may not know what to expect.

You will begin by being greeted by your doctor and taken into the exam/treatment room. Every new patient exam begins with an in-depth history to ensure that our doctors have all the information necessary to create your individualized treatment plan.

We will then go through a thorough history of your chief complaint. This is where you can inform your doctor of any pertinent medical history or additional studies you may have already undergone such as radiographic imaging or lab reports. Once we have an understanding of what you are dealing with we will help establish your goals for treatment at Movement Cube Chiropractic + Rehab.

After we have completed your history we will go through a physical exam including any necessary neurological or orthopedic exams and a functional movement assessment to help us indicate which therapies will best assist in your recovery.

The doctor will then give you a report of findings based on the exam which you will discuss further with them. The treatment tools recommended will then be explained and performed. Once treatment is complete the doctor will discuss the proposed trial of care with you, explaining the projected timeline for recovery, expected progressions, and when you should schedule your next appointment.

We encourage our patients to schedule out 2-3 appointments in advance to ensure they get the time that works best for them with busy schedules.
